The Red Sox held Take the Lead Night on September 9th against a game with the New York Yankees. During the pre-game ceremony, we honored two women, Naomi Bethune and Katie Watts, who are change makers in their community to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
The 2019 and 2018 Take the Lead Fellows, Kensha Grandoit and Olivia Irving, delivered the game ball to the mound.
