Paul Francisco

Chief Diversity Officer and Head of Workforce Development Programs | State Street Corporation
Paul is the Chief Diversity Officer and Head of Workforce Development programs at State Street Corporation. In these roles, Paul leads the implementation of State Street’s global diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies. He also oversees the execution of workforce development strategies and the Affirmative Action planning.
Prior to joining State Street, Paul was a Managing Director and co-founder of Foster & Francisco LLC, an executive search and diversity consulting firm based in Boston. Prior to Foster & Francisco, Paul led recruitment and Consulting and Relationship Management functions at Bank of America, as well as Fidelity Investments, respectively. Early in his career he led recruitment efforts at Amica Mutual Insurance, and The Gillette Company.
Paul currently sits on the boards of The Base Inc. as the chair of the Nominations Committee; Bentley University School of Business; Business Advisory Council, The Posse Foundation Boston Leadership Council and Morgan Memorial Goodwill. Paul also serves on Boston University’s Black Alumni Leadership Council, The Partnership Inc., Executive Leadership Council and The 30% Club’s Steering Committee. Additionally, he serves on the External Diversity Advisory Council for Vertex Pharmaceuticals, the Simmons University Institute for Inclusive Leadership Board of Advisors, and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts Advisory Board. He is an active member of the Patriots Alumni Association, and the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation. In March of 2017 Paul was appointed by Massachusetts Governor, Charlie Baker, to serve on the Black Advisory Board Commission. Paul is one of the cofounders of the New Commonwealth Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund.
His recognitions include the Boston Business Journal’s 2007 “Top 40 under 40”, 2009 “20 on the Move” recognizing Hispanic Executives making a difference in Boston, and 2020 “Power 50”; El Planeta Newspaper’s Powermeter; “100 Most Influential Latinos in Massachusetts”, and Color Magazine’s 2009 “All Inclusive Award for Leadership”.
Paul has also been recognized by the Boston National Black MBA Association with the 2014 “Corporate Leadership Award”, 2018 Profiles in Diversity Journal “Diversity Leader” Award, and Black Enterprise 2018 “Top Executives in Corporate” Diversity. Paul was also recognized by Massachusetts Governor, Deval Patrick, with a Certificate of Achievement for his work done on behalf of the Hispanic Community in Massachusetts.
Paul graduated from Boston University with a BA in Political Science. In 2018 he received a Doctor in Humane Letters Degree (Hon) from Fisher College. He resides in Dorchester, MA, with his wife and two daughters.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Alejandro Auffant currently serves as an Executive Associate for the Boston Red Sox. With over 7 years of professional experience in the sports industry, Alejandro has a proven track record of managing corporate partnerships, premier clients, media relations, and elite-level athletes. Alejandro has made significant contributions to prestigious organizations like the Boston Red Sox, the Chicago Cubs, and the Puerto Rico Olympic Committee. With a passion for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in sports, Alejandro is well-equipped to share his insights and expertise on how to break into the dynamic world of sports.
Chloe Ferrucci began her career at the TD Garden working part-time in Guest Services. After a year of working events as a Guest Experience Ambassador, she transitioned into a full-time Recruiting Coordinator role. This role gave her exposure to the different areas within Human Resources which lead her to her current position. She is now the HR Generalist supporting the TD Garden, Boston Bruins and Delaware North Sportservice! She is grateful to continue to grow in her Human Resources career at this amazing company.
Amelia Hirtle graduated from Worcester State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and also holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management from Southern New Hampshire University. Before working as the Team Administration Coordinator for the New England Revolution, she was a Fellow in the Kraft Fellowship Program, where she spent time supporting different aspects of the Kraft Sport and Entertainment business at Gillette Stadium. In her current role, she assists with matchday operations as well as takes care of staff and player needs throughout the season.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Jay has been working in the professional sports industry for 10 years. He’s helped create impactful theme nights such as HBCU Night, Best Buddies Night, and Special Olympics Night. This upcoming season he’s passionate about creating a Cancer Awareness Night to add to the Celtics strong line up of heritage and awareness nights.
Andrew Wallace attended Bryant University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a marketing concentration in 2021. Andrew grew up playing sports and eventually earned a scholarship to play football at Bryant which is where he discovered his passion for working in the industry. While at Bryant, Andrew would volunteer to work athletic events and took on an internship with Learfield IMG the summer prior to his junior year where he assisted with corporate partnerships for Brown University Athletics. He has now been working with The Kraft Group & New England Patriots over the past two years as the Aide to the SVP of Business Affairs & CAO, Football. Read More
Kaity Goodwin is the current 2022-2023 Take the Lead Fellow. Kaity graduated from Babson College in May of 2022 with a degree in business administration and a concentration in design, technology, and entrepreneurship. In college she was extremely active in her school community, helping to plan and execute a variety of events while also striving to diversify attendance and integrate inclusive practices into her campus community. She utilized her design and planning skills to create fun and engaging events and wanted to bring those skills to her future career.
