2024 TAKE THE LEAD NIGHT

On August 24th, 2024, the Red Sox hosted the annual Take the Lead Suite Night, celebrating the 6th anniversary of the groundbreaking "Take the Lead" initiative.

The night honored the collaboration between New England's top sports teams—the Bruins, Celtics, Patriots, Revolution, and Red Sox—in their united stand against racism and hate speech. Since its inception in 2017, the program has fostered inclusivity, created career opportunities for diverse communities, and empowered young professionals through the Fellowship program.

During a pre-game ceremony at Fenway Park, representatives from all five teams were recognized for their dedication to the program’s mission. Fellows from past years, including Kensha Grandoit (2019-2020), Jaehmar Paul (2020-2021), Kaity Goodwin (2022-2023), and Marvel Melon (2023-2024), were also celebrated on the field.

Attendees then enjoyed an evening of networking, food, and camaraderie in a suite, continuing the tradition of connecting industry professionals with the next generation of sports leaders.
